The last time I watched Wrath of Khan I was pleasantly surprised at how well written it was, much better than I remembered.
"How do I FEEL?? I feel ... old."
And when you watch them in sequence it's also surprising how serialized they are. You kinda forget all that when you just catch one of them on TV.

Actual writing with actual characters that have actual motivations for the things they do and the decisions they make, and doing stuff that has some real point to it. Imagine if they still did that

I started watching The Recruit on Netflix today and I am now 2 episodes in. I find it rather entertaining most of the time but I do hope the recruit in question becomes a bit smarter soon. And me, so I can understand what on earth the plot is actually about...
