I'm now three episodes in to 1899 and it was quite a challenge trying to work out the correct settings for subtitles/audio. 
In the end I settled on the dubbed version so the language issue isn't affecting me.
So far it's intriguing enough but I'm not sure it's going anywhere and the music choices seem rather odd.
I've also started rewatching the Watchmen tv show.

It's the one where I fall asleep and miss several important bits. 
There were some splendid accents while I was awake.
