Stranger Things subtitles keep saying a stinger plays... What the heck is a stinger? Besides that thing in bee's butts.

Wikipedia says  a classic sting is the "Dun dun duuuuun!"

Edit: I think the person doing the subtitles just learned the word stinger and has to use it all the time to show off... 

They're always ominous.

In my Star Trek Voyager episodes the music is either "majestic" or "suspenseful".
And last night I snoozed through the one with that annoying clown.
I know that there are some people that really like that episode but I'm not one of them

This is only the first couple of minutes of the episode I'm currently watching. I'm finding all the mentions of stingers quite jarring, by now.

Edit again.... I googled and yes, it's half the season, with the rest of the episodes coming on July 1st. Dang you Val, I could have sworn you said it was the whole season (j/k :p)

Sorry I thought it was the full season.
I was initially expecting only one episode a week.

Anyway I'm now watching The Matrix Resurrections to see if Keanu's acting has improved with age...

...and it turned out to be another of those "nostalgic" movies that wallows in the memory of previous films. They even reused old footage throughout the story. Also the initial set up was a bit cheesy with the video game sequel stuff.

I've been watching The Witches, today. Not all the way through (yet - not sure if I'll bother).
I remember seeing and/or reading the story as a kid and liking it. But this version.... Chris Rock (I think) being the narrator, the kid actor being incredibly uninteresting - I was looking forward to him becoming a mouse! - and his grandma actually kind of also being a witch, but a good one and a bit too religious for my taste to boot. She's not called a witch, of course, because she's a good person. but she makes potions and uses scrying techniques all the same. I don't remember that from the original story, but.... it's been a while. I might just have forgotten.

I did use to love the Narnia books and it took years before the religious bits started bothering me, so... maybe I just didn't notice those things back then.
