That's the Trek series you said you watched. Space station near a worm hole, and enough gold pressed latinum to make your lobes shake.

Edit: What the heck IS gold pressed latinum anyway? I mean, I know it's a currency and I'm pretty sure it's made up but.... gold pressed? Does being pressed with gold make something more valuable? Can you press (shape) things with gold? Wouldn't gold be too soft? Though I guess you can use it as a weight to press things... But then you could use anything heave, so what I the deal with the gold???  

Gold is worthless in Star Trek land.
The concept of replicators makes everything kind of worthless but Latinum apparently can't be replicated due to some technobabble guff about the molecule extending into sub-space. Or something.
But it appears in the show as a rather heavy viscous liquid and is stored more easily within hollow gold bricks/strips.

You should have kept watching more episodes.

I'm sure it'll all turn out find in the end.

Ah yes, the authentic Swedish Midsummer celebrations...

I do enjoy these informative documentaries about other countries/cultures.
