The Trailer Park

I remember Taboo feeling like starting to watch the third season of a six season story arc and not getting to watch the preceding or following seasons.

Person A is knocked unconscious and when they "recover" they are actually somebody else.
They then lure person B away by giving them a tip-off.
They then fail their plan and the real person A comes back.
Person A and person B then discuss the result of that tip-off thing as if it really was person A who was around when they weren't.
The Flash has a lot of "strange logic" but this one... isn't even logic in a strange sort of way. It's not logic in any way.

But I did snigger a bit the other day, after recently reading Val's comment on the series... The scene played out something like...
"Oh no, we're having a reverse big bang in 3 minutes. Run Barry!"
*Barry runs around the... cloud.*
*Barry is not fast enough. But then.... he is!*

Day is saved. With about 1 second to spare, too.

Meanwhile on the Flash.
"He's not breathing! You could have killed him!" (Possibly the subtitles replaced still with not...)

Tonight I started watching the series Cracow Monsters on Netflix. Not sure what I think yet... I have a sneaky feeling I don't really care for the main female character... But she's supposed to become part of a group, so maybe things will feel better at that point. It does have a kind of foreboding sense to it... I only watched half the first episode yet, though. And now I need to hit the shower and get to bed... So I guess I'll watch it some more, tomorrow.

I still haven't got back into Netflix after all my other freebies. I've just got one season left of Servant (which isn't quite as interesting as the first ones) and I've finished the first seasons of For All Mankind and See.

But right now I'm currently watching the movie Reminiscence which has started slowly with a little too much voiceover.

Edit: And the voiceover continued most of the way through which is never a good sign. Yet despite that there were some interesting ideas explored. They just needed a more interesting story to drive it. 

I ended up finishing that first episode of Cracow Monsters yesterday and getting myself to bed way too late. There were a couple of those logical gaps that annoyed me, but I think I'll keep watching.

I've now watched three episodes of Cracow Monsters and I'm thinking it's kind of ridiculous? Maybe if I knew Polish/Slavic folklore it would make more sense. But demon women running around without pants and weirdly choreographed rituals... Not to mention demons trying to kill someone in a very roundabout sort of way. Yet the series seems entirely devoid of humour... so I'm guessing the funny bits are unintentional.

Needs more pants.
