I finished off the last episode of the last season of Scott & Bailey today. I think I might miss them.

I also started watching the Irregulars - which is some sort of supernatural Sherlock Holmes spinoff. Once again the main characters are kids, and Dr Watson, who's "spent a life time fighting demons" looks about 30. But the first episode was watchable. I think I will continue.

I watched the first one of The Irregulars but I haven't been back yet.
Didn't like the anachronistic tone nor the supernatural bit. The whole point of Sherlock Holmes is to debunk that kind of stuff and discover the rational explanation. To ignore that and not even have Sherlock on screen anyway seems rather pointless.
But I may go back to it later when I've finished other stuff.

I've now watched 3 episodes and Sherlock still hasn't been on screen. Dr Watson is believed to be a bad guy who Sherlock had the misfortune to fall in with and he's gone mad because he's obsessed with the supernatural... So yeah, not exactly ... whatstheword? Gospel? Choir? Kosher?

I did suspect him of cross dressing as Mrs Hudson for a bit. But he has since appeared... (in the very last minutes of episode 4)

I'm trying to pretend that none of the people in this series ever existed (like Prince Leopold) nor were invented previously (like the Holmes brothers, Watson and Hudson)...

Bridgerton continues to be surprisingly funny.


I have also made a start on season two of 13 Reasons... etc and it's still watchable but with much less of that anxiety-inducing urgency and none of the raw emotional power of the previous episodes.

Was that the yellow dress? *can't recall that particular instance*

I've just finished a bonus week of Amazon Prime in which I binged on season two of Man in the High Castle and I also watched a film called The Vast Of Night which was really good despite having a very small budget.
