There are so many of those Predator rehashes/crossovers that I don't even remember which one that is.
I'm pretty sure I've seen it but...
Which recognisable humans were in that one?

AVP is the one where Weyland (played by Lance Henriksen) goes to the Arctic (or maybe it was the Antarctic) with a group of red shirts to explore a pyramid containing some aliens that were put there by predators for "reasons". Predators then turn up to deal with the situation.

I'm now not sure that I've seen that one.

that's not a very accurate description... Predators lured humans to pyramid, which they think they discovered but apparently it's "discovered" every 100 years, for "reasons" (warrior initiation rite or some such).

There were quite a few logical holes in the story though. One of which being the "the Aztecs built the pyramid to change every 10 minutes" - I'm not sure Aztecs knew what "a minute" is.... (OK googling minutes, they have been around for something like 5-6000 years but I can't recall exactly which civilizations were involved in these pyramids - Aztecs, Egyptians and Cambodians I think? Not sure they used minutes anyhow, or could measure them as accurately as that guy's watch... And even if the mechanics were designed by aliens there's no reason for THEM to use minutes...)

Also girl needs to take off jacket because alien saliva and then doesn't freeze to death in the Arctic/Antarctic. Nor does water flood the caves they and the pyramid was in although the ocean is right next to their base.... And in spite of the battles between aliens and predators ruining the building and these fights happening every 100 years the pyramid was in tip top shape when they found it...

oh but I forgot to ask - has there been a "sequel" to this one? That last baby that "popped up" (quite literally) seemed suspiciously different...

AVP 2: Requiem - black screen with some noises. Apparently hidden in the black screen are some twenty-something year old teenagers in some small town doing teenager slasher movie stuff, then Aliens and Predators turn up. There are sounds of these things hitting each other in the dark blackness of the screen, along with quotes of dialogue from various Alien and Predator films.

Have you tried turning up the brightness?

They spent their lighting budget on something other than lighting.

"the above" does not mention any hybrid babies....

It did answer the question about whether or not there was a sequel.
