My language skills are apparently better than Amazon - they've been ridiculed in Swedish media today after opening a Swedish site where they failed to translate quite a bit apparently. Especially words with double meanings in English. (Like the other word for rooster, which does not mean rooster in Swedish and rape from rapeseed becoming the other kind of rape... I think the news had an example of earrings "suitable for european prostitutes" - not sure how they managed to mistranslate whatever prostitute was supposed to be...)

Anyway, I'm now watching Doomsday. I'm only some ten minutes in and it's pretty gory. And.... the one eyed woman who uses her fake eye as a spy cam - I do hope she sanitized it between having it bounce and roll on the floors and putting it back into her face.... (If they showed it being cleaned up I missed it...)

so hmm... apparently the survivors of a deadly disease still have access to hair dye even if the rest of their surroundings is all in ruins...

Even zombies gotta look good.

You never know when a fake-eye spycam is gonna take a selfie.

I'm not sure a fake eye spy cam is capable of selfies.... being the actual cam...

not sure if the survivors are zombies either. 30 years earlier they apparently resorted to eating each other (I presume they could find no other food) but now there seem to be lots of cows (I'd have expected sheep ) so they shouldn't have to be cannibals anymore...

You'd have to be VERY cross-eyed.

Movie ended. Do not recommend. Very illogical. Very gory. Weird but not surprising ending.

I did manage to sneak in that opening episode of The Alienist... and enjoyed!

I liked how things had moved ahead in all of their lives, since the previous season
