I'm watching The Spy Who Dumped Me and while it's silly I am actually enjoying it. Maybe I'm just over tired or something...

The second half started to drag and I was getting a little tired with the way all the characters talked in extremely long melodramatic monologues full of metaphors and other words beginning with m. It all seems a little like a soap writer took Stephen King's The Shining and IT and mixed them up with the basic premise of the original book.

Maybe they get paid by the word count just like some authors?

They must have made a fortune.

They're all now something on m... a long word starting with m... hm...mmm...

Alienist season 2

I knew there was "something" that I liked that started on Thursday but couldn't remember what it was.
Until now!

But I'll probably wait until I've finished Sense8.

aw, season 2 was only 8 episodes... I thought it would be 10.... *is all out*

Wow, you really don't delay when there's a show to watch.

Meanwhile I'll just get through one episode each of my shows.

Old Doctor Who, Sylvester McCoy, has turned up in Sense8 and he has a rather dodgy Scottish accent despite the fact that the actor IS actually Scottish!?
They seem to be trying too hard and too desperately to show his Scottishness to the audience. He even has a can of IRN BRU in one scene.

*Pictures directors telling scottishman to do a Scottish accent* "Not like that! Scottish sounds like this! "

And honestly I had hoped it would last at least three days but I've had a couple of days with headaches and Gandalf keeps wanting to sleep on me, so I haven't really gotten much else done, but Netflixing.... (and a wee bit of drawing, or colouring.)
