I watched the second episode of White Wall today and caught myself wishing I could skip straight to the last episode.... and then I noticed that ALL episodes are available. So I read the short descriptions of each and determined that pretty much nothing happens and did skip to the last episode. I have now watched 25% of that episode and it's mostly been people walking through snow. What suspense!

EDIT: and now the main character threw away his gloves, just before climbing down a metal ladder in several degrees below zero. :hmm: (In the first episode, someone broke through a fence and got shot, carrying a drone in place which she could have released OUTSIDE the fence and flown inside....:eyeroll:)

EDIT2: The whole season is over and nothing much happened. They found something white inside the bedrock. It cracked (in the last few minutes of the last episode) and water started spilling everywhere. The only interesting thing about it was that it made a water bottle with a sample overflow and somehow created geysers of water on Mars. Also it happened under a large supply of radioactive waste, so I guess that's a potential problem.... Other than that, perfectly pointless and boring and uninteresting.

I don't think you'll ever find suspense by skipping the whole series to the final episode. That's the opposite of suspense.

Same thing happens in the film The Day After Tomorrow so it must be scientifically accurate just like that film was :dumb:

Currently watching another scientifically accurate movie about magical neutrinos causing the ends of the world. Yes, 2012. A friend just saw it and said it was really well made so I figured I'd give it a try. Turns out I saw it before. (I pretty much only remember the ending, though....)

Yes, I too have seen both those movies but can't remember any details at all. :P

I finished Orphan Black last night and was content with the way they managed to end it. And Sense8 is beginning to improve too. It's still a bit frivolous at times but the main story is starting to be more intriguing now.

Watching a movie called The Foreigner, with Jackie Chan and Pierce Brosnan. My, they look old  But I'm not sure what I'm thinking.... Chan's character's daughter dies in a bombing and to find out who did it he starts blowing things up, too... Not exactly a moral tale... He's like a terrorist McGyver...

I keep starting to watch things because Gandalf wants to sleep on my arm, and then once I've settled for something, he leaves.... :eyeroll:

EDIT: Oh these henchmen are some clever lads.... Told to fan out, all three head in the exact same direction....

That's a bit sad really; a wrinkly Jackie Chan still trying to do martial arts, but I'll laugh at them anyway. :)

Brave New World starts on TV tonight so I'll probably be watching that later. I think all episodes are available so I could watch more than one but I'll probably fit in some DS9s as well.

Well, there's some semblance of his usual antics, but.... it's not a comedy.

Comedy probably requires you to move a bit quicker than an old man. :)
