Oh dear. *just watched episode 5 of season 8 of GoT*
No wonder Banj is so upset about it. Is anyone still in character? or alive, even... I can't help but think that the actors MUST have felt that their characters were no longer acting "like they should" - but did none of them object or question this???

I think all the big stories are gonna be the same in the books too.
Albeit slower.

Considering some of the include people who are actually dead in the books, I rather hope not. I'm not sure to what extent GRRM has been involved in the scripting of the TV series, but... I rather hope it's very little... I rather hope a lot. Like that he finishes the books before he kicks the bucket, and that they will still feel original in spite of us all having seen the TV series first...

and I REALLY do hope that the book characters stay IN character!

He hasn't been involved in scripting for a while now, but he did tell them the big ending to work towards.
Then again, he hasn't been involved in book writing for a while either.

well he did say he was gonna use the corona quarantine to write on GoT, so he'd better!!!

Hmmm, Saturday night movie dilemma.
At the moment I'm pondering Captain America: Civil War or maybe Inception.
Not sure when I last watched those (my memory is getting terrible! ) so I may browse some Netflix films first before making a decision.

Edit: Forget about those, after much searching I'm watching The King on Netflix. And a few minutes in it looks like another Shakespeare rehash with a good cast, pretty photography but none of the language.
Let's see how it goes.

I saw that one in one of those weird search results on Netflix yesterday. You know the "We don't have what you search for so we'll just throw a bit of everything at you for good measure" results... I didn't add it to my list though. I don't think... What was that you said about memory....?

It was quite good in the end once it decided to tell its own story instead of staying in the shadow of the old plays. It was just Henry V without the poetry really, but the final scenes were very well acted.

I did still fall asleep though.
A record five times too.
I was getting a bit sick of rewinding to catch the bits I'd missed.

Maybe you should skip the saturday night movies and go straight to bed
