I could have sworn Swedish telly said season 8 of GoT would be shown this autumn. Now, correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure autumn comes AFTER summer, right? I just found that I MISSED THE FIRST EPISODE. *grrrrrrr*
Second episode is available until tomorrow, so I have just watched that. I've obviously missed a few bits and pieces... and well, it's only the second episode but they all seem to be expecting to die and things are getting a bit soppy. Anyway it's kind of nice to have them back. I like the music and costumes and environs...

I have the DVDs now. I could watch that episode and give you a commentary.

Actually maybe that's not a bad idea... I can't recall seeing Ghost since Jon was killed, but now he's back. Did I miss that in episode one or have I just forgotten...?

I've tried to watch episode 3 today but somehow I keep touching the scroll wheel on my tablet and the episode happily jumps all the way to the end and I'm terrified of seeing spoilers
Also, as long as it's bright out, I keep seeing my own reflection in all those dark scenes... Guess I'll have to wait until dark before I try again.

Episode three was indeed very dark.

I recall the first episode was mostly people arriving in the places they had to be and certain characters finding out the truth of some people being related.

Also this must have been the episode with the least bit of dialogue in it. At least so far.
(And uhm... all the while they were fighting for Winterfell I couldn't help but wonder who's bright idea it was that the safest place to hide from a necromancer would be in the crypts...? WHO??? Really!?)

Now I have to wait a week for the next episode
