th9svreminds me of when they explained how the amount of midichlorians in the blood determined how strong the Force was.... except it's the opposite - explaining something non-tech with "science". Charlotte, is your Nightwatch book the one that the movie Nochnoy Dozor (Nightwatch) is based off of? Even had a sequel Dnevnoy Dozor (Daywatch).

Great movies. Unfortunately books 3-5 were never made into movies and I've never read ANY of the books since they were in Russian when I first saw the movies.

Ah, yes... Robin Wayne Bailey. Who also wrote a Fafrhd & the Grey Mouser story after the original author (Fritz Lieber I think?) was gone. Which is how I came to read those stories. And ended up not liking them
