In today's news, we have a new minister for health and social affairs. She kick-started her career by fainting at the press conference that introduced her.

I guess that means she has actual and personal experience with health issues. (Apparently she had a drop in blood sugar levels, which would mean she's diabetic or that wouldn't happen...)

Yesterday's news was that the previous minister of health and social issues is resigning in spite of having stated, just a week ago, that she's going to run for next year's elections as well. News reports says their party leader (who tends to remind me of a very small and very angry dog) didn't want her to stay on, though of course everyone involved is denying this.

Sometimes Swedish politics is almost as interesting as the American ones.

Definitely not.
But then again, with the current government... pretty much all news is bad news.

The house I lived in my first few years (from about 6 months to about 4 years) is once again for sale. Not sure what dad sold it for, but certainly not the sums it's going for these days. I think I saw it for sale about a decade ago and it was then on the market for 4 million (SEK) and now it's around 6,5 million. Dad probably didn't even get half a mil. But then he sold it back in 79 or so and it's probably been renovated a couple of times since. I basically only remember/recognise the yellow exterior (and the neighbours, who still live across the street)
