Here I am, trying to have a nice long nap and some stupid guys are fixing their car outside, all the while playing loud music and shouting.

and in completely different news, 2 years ago I HAD to start a business if I wanted to sell so much as a drawing. NOW apparently, the rules have changed and art can once again be considered a hobby even in the eyes of the tax whatsit. So now I don't need my business but I still have to go through the hassle of the tax thingywick for last year and also look up how I put the company to sleep
(as an unemployed person having your own company is bad, very bad. It's not good at all if people can manage to make (a little) money in more than one way, rather than rely entirely on the welfare system...)

EDIT: and while everyone always says you can keep your company dormant that's apparently not advisable for "single person firms" like mine, so today I've applied to have it killed. Which means I need to update my LinkedIn profile - again - and my CV and blah blah blah...

I still don't know enough to offer advice. I fear that my ignorance would somehow end up with some kind of illegal technicality that I didn't understand. But on the plus side you probably wouldn't have to pay any bills while in prison for fraud.

One never knows how far is the reach of capitalism. Prisoners probably have to pay bills for food and housing these days....
