My you learn so much from Antiques Road trip (or whichever British Antiques show it was)
Apparently there was, in the 1950'ies, a Captain Kirk Carlsson aboard the Flying Enterprise. Can't help but wonder if someone behind Star Trek knew about that.... :p
EDIT: Also I'm stunned that nobody on the show mentioned this. I guess they're all a different category of geeks.

There are many, many, MANY antique shows on British TV.
