Movie quote quiz!

It's an old film, circa 1957 so it may be a toughie. Also, no boats. Vessel refers to a container for liquid (hence the brew bit).

It's a Danny Kaye movie. With Glynnis Johns, Angela Landsbury, Basil Rathbone, and Orson Wells.

For an old timer like me this was too easy.
Of course originally it went:
“The Pellet with the Poison's in the Vessel with the Pestle, and the chalice with the palace has the brew that is true.” Linked
but the chalice from the palace was broken so the poison it was switched so...
“The pellet with the poison’s in the flagon with the dragon! The vessel with the pestle has the brew that is true!”

This was an old Danny Kaye favorite of mine. If you haven’t seen it and can find it I would recommend it. The conversation is like the old “Who’s on First”.

Oh I used to love Danny Kaye movies! I had forgotten.... And all I can remember now is Inspector General (I think it was called...) but I can hear him say all that stuff you quoted! Sounds like him!

Yes he "inspects generally" or was it "generally inspects"

And of course Danny Kaye did the original "The Secret Life Walter Mitty"

I really loved the recent Ben Stiller remake of that film. It was so positive and uplifting for once!
