Elder Scrolls

Brief: Interpret the challenge title as you will and turn it into something fabulous, more or less (or not at all) related to the Elder Scroll Game series.

Deadline: Midnight on Saturday 31st of May. There will now be no voting and no eventual winner, this is just a creative exercise with a time limit.

Rules in brief:
- All challenge entries must be your own work. No AI or other borrowed materials unless the challenge specifically says to use it.
- You should post at least two WIP images that are clearly different from your final entry and each other.
- Your final entry should contain your image (inserted so it shows up full size) and at least two links to your WIP posts on the forum.
- No chatter before the deadline, in the finals thread – if you have questions, post them in the WIP thread or PM an admin.
- Feedback is allowed & encouraged in the WIP thread and after finals are posted.
- Deadline is given in UK time (midnight UTC) with a grace period of 5 minutes for getting the post sorted.

There's a mermaid statue in Anvil that's in both Oblivion and ESO.

With all the other dreadful stuff continuing to consume my time it seems increasingly unlikely that I'll finish this but here's where I have currently managed to get to...

 

I do feel like I've cheated somewhat with the eyes because after a few failed attempts to get radial mapping to actually work I ended up trying out that free Tiny Eye addon which produces amazing results with very little effort.
I'd much prefer to use my own procedural textures but I'm a long way from recreating the crazy nodes that this has.
