CGAN April25 - Repaint -WIPs

That's looking pretty good so far

I think I've worked out what's wrong with the top of the head (that you can't see any more. )
I was trying to repose it with a couple of bones but the head wouldn't attach to the armature.
I googled the error message for a solution and it's apparently caused by duplicate vertices. So I did a Merge By Distance and there were thousands that it had to remove!
Don't know how that happened during the remesh/subdivide process but at least it's behaving now.

Thousands! No wonder it takes Banj so long to count...

I've only just realised that the dark thing is a necklace and not the neckline of some garment worn beneath.

I'll have to go back and do some modelling/sculpting now. And I thought I was nearly finished!

I realised the same thing when looking carefully. Though I think I'll replace it with a clasp for the cloak I am trying to do as a replacer for the blanket. Yes, I am taking liberties and not making an "exact" copy. Orange blankets are "not my style" after all (Even if I grew up with one looking alarmingly like it... we had one striped orange and one striped blue blanket at home when I was little... I think I might still have one of them somewhere but I'm not sure which one or where....)
