And all that with no nodes.

Meanwhile I have a low poly guy looking for some textures...

 

 

Maybe he'll get some nodes too.


I'm now starting to realise that this whole idea might have been subconsciously inspired by those two hours of Alan Wake that I played recently. So I may go back and check my screenshots of that for low-poly-guy's appearance.
Although he may only appear either rather small or out-of-focus anyway.

Those nodes are certainly doing work.

Aw, the little man got textured...

 

With some UV painting.
And nodes of course.
Now he needs a pose and a flashlight. And possibly a bit of sculpting after that pose to make it work.

A quick test to see how the textures look. I need to deal with the nails which are supposed to be dull rusty things and came out new and shiny.

Oh, I guess I do see the shiny nails.

Not sure about pink disco lights but with a bit of vegetation on the dunes at the back, some nice slow waves in front and maybe string lights hanging on the porch it could make a nice little beach shack. Presuming there are no zombies inside, I suppose. And maybe the windows need un-boarding, the roof fixing and some nice furniture. And cookies. You can never go wrong with cookies.

There are  everywhere.

Maybe I should just go back to bed and hide under my blankets...

The zombies can dance to the disco lights whilst rejecting all cookies.
