The journey begins (Baggins?). Stupid Gandalf and his stupidly positioned limbs 

Stupid lack of Hobbits and sufficient partying

Such a great composition, Banj, especially with the big foreground beer. Not stupid at all.

This however...

 

I'm sort of in the middle of doing the hands now...
...and I also want some of Gandalf's fireworks to be visible through the window but my first try at that just looked like a big dandelion (and no, I don't mean the funny Witcher chap. )

Thanks, I like the expression you have on Bilbo's face there. A little more progress on mine with some small perspective fixes, a stupid Gandalf with his stupid legs, and now with a few extra Hobbitses. Need more Hobbits.

Hobbits acquired. I noticed a distinct lack of female Hobbits, so I have addressed that oversight to prevent Hobbit extinction. I think this will do for line work, on to painting of some kind

Is that hobbitsa in the background going to stab somebody, though?

I rather like your stupid Gandalf with his long stupid legs. It's not how we usually get to see him.
