It's Inktober! (2017)

I always forget about Inktober until a week or so has past and it feels like I've already failed, so this year - when I actually remember it with a few hours to go - I figured I'd post a joint thread for anyone who wants to join in.

The Inktober challenge was started by an artist I can't recall the name of [EDIT: IT's Jake Parker, see post 3] and has become a bit of a yearly thing online. The aim is to make at least one ink drawing a day throughout the month. You don't need to post once a day, it's OK to post several at once. But it's not OK to draw several in one day and claim they're several day's worth of drawings The Gods of the Internet will frown upon anyone who does that, while the rest of us will remain happily oblivious.

Personally I'll probably cheat and mostly use ArtRage inks but I might do some actual pen drawings as well. (They're just harder to get online with maintained quality.)

I hope some of you will join in as well! You all know I HATE sitting here all alone!

Not sure it counts but the first ArtRage Ink pen picture for the month is added to the first post. Fancy, eh?

edit: and just in case the above really doesn't count here's a fruitbat added to some crappy idea scribbles (top row is an aywas pet and edit ideas...)

I felt my scribbles were probably making a bit too light of the inktober challenge so I looked up the official website, which you can find here: inktober.com/

Jake Parker also has a list of prompts you can use if you can't think of what to draw.

I like that stylish lettering.
My attempts at lettering always just look like my handwriting no matter what style I'm trying to do.
I don't even have a decent signature either, it's just my name, boringly written by me.

Inking is very hard for me, I'd prefer a messier Scribble September or something like that.
But I'll try and have a go at something later this week.

I think I'm better at scribbles too Maybe we'll remember to do Scribble September next year. (Or maybe we won't...)
