Or will have one once I actually learn some more stuff than just placing CK items. Like how to trigger a change from one group of items to another (I know they need to be linked to Xmarkers but then I have to do scripting, as well... :dry: ) or how to do "navcuts" (block a navmesh until the next bit of it is supposed to be available).

But the basement is there! And it has small beer and weak ciders for the kids :aha:

I want to extend upwards too but I suspect that means I have to build a brand spanking new exterior... At some point. And I need to learn how to disable the "extension" of the orphanage that comes with Hearthfire (and which I never even noticed in game :dumb: ) so that my version can be done instead... But all that is related to the scripting bits, so... later... :aha:

And why am I doing this? Because I don't like kids, of course! :eyeroll:

I did consider making a basement which was available from the get go and turned out to have dead children in it... :dry: But I opted against it in the end :p

Grelod is not a kind woman. But with the canals just outside I guess she never needed a basement to bury the bodies in...

It's very weird working in the CK when one is used to a different look because of mods... :dry: I made a servant NPC as an "elderrace" but she has perfectly smooth skin and looks fresh as a peach. (I have a mod that makes old people look old.) Also, there are four female hairstyles for elders (though they can use other hairs as well so I'm not sure what the point is because they look identical to their non elder counterparts), and two of them are the exact same, which means there's only three elder hairstyles, really (and three identical hairs in total of one model...)

Anyway, servantwoman will be living in basement. I considered starting on the upper floor and then I realised that I would have to replace all the walls of the current ground floor as they come with roof beams included. I guess I have to tie the current walls to one of those Xmarkers, and then replace them with others, that will be in the same spot while I'll work making it really hard to see anything :argh: I need to sleep on this. I have seen comments like "hide those things while..." but I have no idea how to hide stuff in the CK (except markers and collision planes and navmesh... :dry: but not objects)
