Just pointing this out, but I noticed that when using the PM system, the emoticons actually are animated. Whereas in the regular forums, they are not. ... Not a big deal, but just thought to bring it up. But I'm sure you guys are probably already aware. :) ... or maybe they're like 'weeping angels' & only move when one's not looking? :huh: Oh %#!@!

I knew I'd seen animated ones somewhere... Banj knows more about this though... I have no idea why they're different.

Thanks Dave, comments, crits, random observations, it's all good and useful to hear. You are correct that I'm already aware of it, it's on the list of things to do (it's a big list and I'm checking it twice), but I'd rather people mention stuff I know about than not mention stuff I don't know about :huh: .

Not only are the emotes in the pm system animated, but they are from an entirely different set from the ones on the forum. It's something I want to fix so there is consistency throughout the site (there's loads of icons around where that is also the case).

I'll probably say this alot in this suggestions forum, but the site was kind of knocked up in a very short space of time, so things that should have been didn't happen in favour of getting something operational. Wait for the update (if and when I start working on it :pinch: )

No worries, Banj. I figured as much and completely understand. I know setting something like this up can be quite daunting, and applaud you for doing so in such a timely fashion. And with the short time frame in which you did, having some bugs is inevitable. All you can do now is just keep stomping on them when their found, until their gone. :)

Haha... Yeah, some of those little buggers can be hard to take out. :) - But I guess that's better then having the whole place smell like insecticides! :sick:

The site seems to work great on my iPad, the way the posted images pop up is quite nice. That other site was a nightmare to use on the newer devices, so good job!

Good to hear Dave (the Dave Dave, not the others...). At the moment I believe you can't upload to the gallery from an iPad (Kaz was testing it about half an hour before the site opened but we couldn't sort that out in time). But nice to here everything else is OK.
