Nice review of Project Dogwaffle Howler (or whatever they are bloody calling it these days!) in the Xmas issue of IFX. I've had this for years, upgraded a few times as it's relatively cheap, but not for a while. I think I may do so now. I haven't used the 3D part of it.

See what influence a nice review has?

I've only ever known about the freebie one. I guess it slips under the radar due to it's silly/quirky and rather unexplanatory name. Might check it out again though.

I dunno what a dogwaffle howler is or does so I'm not tempted in the slightest...

Well, you know what the elders say 'How do you know you won't like it, if you haven't tried it' (said in a whinny, perennial voice.) :P

I get sketchy around pencils! ...=D

Whenever anyone says to me "How do you know if you haven't tried?" I always reply, "Have you tried cyanide gas?"
They never say it to me again. :P

Edit:

LEGAL DISCLAIMER

Please note that I neither condone, encourage nor seek to provoke the use and/or abuse of toxic substances. I merely offer the phrase as a retort to expose the fallacy at the heart of the often quoted question. ie, I myself, like many others, have not tried cyanide gas, nor consumed deadly quantities of arsenic, nor have I experienced the Ebola virus yet I can somehow state with 100% certainty that I won't like any of those things even though I haven't tried them.

ME: Will that do?
LAWYER: Yeah that should cover it.
ME: Erm.... do I have to pay you now or something?
LAWYER: <stifled laugh>
