What about, instead of doing a weekly competitive challenge, doing something like a weekly practice theme? Posting something new each week for people to sketch/study/practice/whatever they feel like doing? Not judged or voted on to take away a lot of the work for mods, just a weekly topic for people to dump themed sketching.

Just a thought. :)

Rebecca I like that idea kinda like the old daily sketch challenge but weekly and with a theme. Studies are something I never do enough of and when I do I repeat the same subjects a lot.
BTW that's an awesome avatar you have. One of yours I'm guessing?

Yeah I think that's a great idea - we only need someone clever and skilled anough to set up the challenges :P (I wouldn't know where to start but I could sure use such practice)

That sounds like a great idea Rebecca, this is kinda funny but I have this dream of everyone on this site becoming the worlds best artists, because off all the feedback/critique/advise from everyone ! Who needs art school when you can help make everyone and yourself awesome !
