Hey Crank, looking awesome, especially the color version, the engine room is really getting detailed like crazy now!
Looking at it I can see so many components and I can see a cool story in there, but I don't want to take away from your idea! It's mostly the little guy you added to show how massive it is, the scale of it, because it makes it look more epic.
My idea anyway was to put a big creature in the center and push the components back more, it would be like a mad scientist sort of vibe, but just my idea!
Don't get too involved into the shading with the 3D objects, they might start to lose their shapes, I would maybe scrap the blue objects also, they seem very flat in comparison to the rest of pic.
I really dig these sketchbooks on Youtube, they help me learn a lot.
