Also em...s changes make a huge difference, I love the trees but pushing the to the back really makes the image work better.

Thanks Kaz. Yeah, the brat pack has grown some. My property is around an acre, but I only fenced in the back for them. I also have an open field behind me that is 3 to 4 acres, so there's plenty of room.

And yep, I agree. I will be lightening the BG such as em... has shown here. I was spending time trying to sharpen and darken the foreground, but I like the way it knocks the BG back, which is what I was looking to do.

It's not easy sometimes Dave, trust me. And they're really still pups. The two younger ones just turning 2 a few months ago, and the older sister won't be 4 till August.. But they are a lot of fun.

Just started doing some doodling, while waiting for breakfast this morning. (just felt like at least moving the wacom pen around, since I wiped off all the dust! ) Might just leave him on screen and re-visit between work breaks today.

Y'know Dave, I think that the background of the hunters image would look better if it was darkened and the foreground characters lightened instead of the other way round.

Juts keep the contrasts higher in the foreground and I think it will do the trick.
