That was very interesting.
Far too often I am guilty of just using the first page of Google Images and there were some good ideas here, particularly those sites on medieval clothing.

Using different search engines is often a good idea. Engines like Bing, Yandex etc. (Yahoo uses Bing so don't bother with them) will yield different results to Google (and have finer control over size filtering since Google nerfed theirs). And good old fashioned books and magazines are useful too, they just take up space.
