New section and/or challenge

I would lol, but apparently lol is a mis-spelling too, as is mis-spelling, and yet mus-spelling, mos-spelling, and ms-spelling are apparently all acceptable alternatives.

Any more opinions on the subject of additional non genre sections?

I really like the idea of a figurative/life drawing section. It would be extremely useful as a resource if nothing else.

As Em... recommended, it will help the forumites to have a repository of images and poses to learn from. Plus, should it be an actual subject that someone has painted, they will have somewhere to post it up without feeling that it looks out of place.

So basically a section that isn't works in progress, because it's a finished study, but not finished, because it's a study and not a finished painting... if I understand you correctly?

I mean a section for non-genre-specific figurative art. You could divide the categories further by creating a sketch/WIP section and a finished section if you wanted to, but as long as we get a section where we can put figures (and possibly portraits) that are not genre specific.

Is that any clearer?

Well, yeah except the sections that are there aren't genre specific as it is... Which has already been mentioned twice before in this thread That's why I thought you'd thought of something else...
