Don't tell anyone, but that's exactly what I did with my last inky picture. I spent 15 minutes doing a rough painting of a Frankenstein head in colour and then drew my painting with the gloop pen tool.
I just cannot visualise ink drawings in my head without doing it another way first..

Maaaaybe.... Shaun the sheep had been kidnapped and had been tied up with noodles and imprisoned in the bowl and now she's rescued him by eating this splendid meal which is why everyone is so ...erm... happy?
