I wonder if it gets very messy/icky every time someone with a nose rings needs to sneeze or blow their nose? On second thought, I don't think I wish to contemplate the subject.

I recently saw an add for a contest with paleo-art (ohhh and a paleo-art get-together in London planned for next year - but it's not like I can afford to go ) - Anyway the info was fuzzy on both rules and prizes but I did feel inspired to try something. Hopefully I'll get started before the inspiration fades entirely

Not that I'd enter, I can never draw those legs , but I like looking at dino paintings.

Well, since I live in an area with some plateau mountains with fossils in them, it's organised by a local Geopark thing... So the task is to choose a fossil that occurs locally - then the finalist here would go on to a EU final, but there's no info or link to the overall EU thing, although I guess it's also Geopark related.

And our area has trilobites and orthoceratites among other things. The rocks are unfortunately much too old for dinosaurs
