I haven't seen the movie (yet) but I immediately knew where the image must be from :) And still, as you say, not one of the most/over used images from the film.

I’m glad it was recognisable, thanks. If you don’t mind uncomfortable movies I’d recommend it (obviously). Just don’t watch it while you could be distracted there’s some little gems in there that I missed first time round.

I haven't seen it either. Maybe you should make all your paintings into an animated flipbook so that I can pretend that I have seen it. :P

Love the pained expression of the face.

Meanwhile I've been messing with this all day during lots of short scribbly sessions...

Awesome Val. I love the sparkly little dust motes coming out of the book. I get the same thing when I open a new fantasy/sci fi novel.

Annoyingly ArtRage crashed on me right at the end of this one so I had to repaint it later from an earlier savepoint. :pout:

And I'm sure the first version looked better. :eyeroll:

Must have been very lovely then, because I think this one looks lovely! :)

(and yes I'm up at 4 am - or rather since uhm.... I'm not sure - because I couldn't sleep....)

Edit: Her eyes remind me of that creepy little nun Iris. (Yes, I've started watching Cursed)

Thank you.
That particular style was a shameless rip-off of my old Bertrand Russell portrait but it seemed appropriate for this ref.
I still wish I could have saved the better version before the crash. ArtRage does seem to get a little twitchy for me when I use several multiply layers.

Stuck to one layer again for this big-eyed, strange handed thing...
