All CG artwork is cheating! Didn't you know that all we do is add various effects to photos? The computer does all the work anyhow, were all talentless here.

One of my recent posts on FB received some great responses when I told some one that it was digitally produced, the comment was left by someone who I actually quite respect and like under normal circumstances too.

Them: Is this just painted or is it digitally worked on as well??

"in any case"? "IN ANY CASE"? Whats that supposed to mean? Why does that make it so much worse?
It's like saying:
"very cool but why bother - it's not like its real art where you actually have to learn a skill over many years"

Drawing or painting these days must be done on paper and pencil. Everything else is considered breaking the law.

Speaking of painting my skills must be poop by now. Kind of scared to paint now.

I don't know how you keep so many projects on the go at once. I'd want to obsess over just one of them until it's finished. I guess I don't have the discipline that you have.
