At first glance it looks like that wind tower on the right combined with the shovel and axe in the foreground are actually a giant person walking off to check the mailbox.

but the mailbox is in the other direction.... I think you mean the loo. And possibly that you need your glasses...

I like the style of the second one. It makes me think of some retro 50's sci-fi, like a secret island base from a Flash Gordon story.
