Thanks Dave. I appreciate the feedback.
I did spend the day working on posters for my classroom.
As a teacher I've been told that I need to post the rules for my room, so I wanted to do something a bit different.

Here they are... (If they show up).

Cool idea with the posters. One observation for me would be to open up the spaces a little in the E,F and A (like the bottom opening of the E on the word TIME). It took me a minute to make out the other words. Of course this may be a good thing as it makes them pause and concentrate.

Agree, very cool idea. And yep, seems from upper to lower, it does indeed get harder to read, with the bottom one being quite hard to make out.

Hey all. Thanks for the crits. I definitely see what you're talking about and I'm going to make another pass at these. All in all, I have a good idea of how to work these in the future. (This is my first time doing text in 3d)

Now, occasionally when I have a longer day and I need a break from everyone, I make a spiral bound sketchbook or two with different paper. I made one such book yesterday and put these drawings in it.






This habit by the way is the reason I never fill a sketchbook.

Are all these painted with markers?

They are awesome! The Rocket Raccoon one is brilliant!

I start pretty much every drawing using a 10% warm grey marker to lay down a rough sketch, the they are all pen and pencil drawings with Prismacolor and Copic markers. I finished these off with a white gel pen for an outline and highlights.
