I think Venom's lower arm/wrist looks a little stiff in this pose. I always find it hard to spot problems when the pic is still lines and flat colour so maybe it will correct itself with more shading, but I would be thinking about trying to show or emphasize a bit of rotation in that area while working on it.
And the Spider-man looks cool. :)

Valence:  Indeed it does, revised it a bit so hopefully it looks more natural now.  Glad you dig Spidey! ................. I finished up Venom, pretty happy with it.  I had an electric blackout during the painting process so I lost an hour of work but I was able to resume pretty close to where I left off so it's no big deal.  I feel the image works well but I'm open to feedback as always.  Below is the final followed by some steps for those interested.

Next up I decided to do a fan art of God of War.  Initially I thought about exploring a portrait piece of Kratos but ultimately decided to go with something a bit more in line with the feel of the game, so it was necessary to depict his son as well.  I'm pretty pleased with the sketch overall, but I'd love to hear any input before proceeding with some color tests.

Did some minor changes to Venom, I think I'm calling it done for now!

Next up I resumed work on God of War, updated the sketch a bit and did some quick color tests. My personal favorite is F by far, I feel it has the most interesting colors there, although I'm open to feedback!  Here at the tests:

Decided to develop D, and just finished the painting process.  I'm pretty satisficed with it as I feel I captured the feel of the game pretty well with this.  Of course there's still time to implement any final feedback, so if something feels off please let me know!  Below is the final followed by some steps for those interested.

I'm not familiar with the game in question so I couldn't say how it captures the feel of it, but I do like the "cold peach" colour scheme. Someone mentioned on FB that your spiderman pic could have used some bounce light from the ground which I though was a very good idea, when I read it. Here you do have some coldish light from the left, but I think if you wanted to, you could add a touch brighter/bluer light reflected off the snow in well chosen places. That I'm not sure which they are  I just feel it shouldn't be over done, so a few places or leave as is :)

Charlotte:  Glad you like the color scheme! Great suggestion regarding the blue tones on the snow, went ahead and added some saturation here and there to the snow and I feel it was a great addition, so thanks again!

............Here's an update on the image based on the feedback I received, hope it's an improvement!
Next I began work on a new image, based on a reference photo by one Satine Zillah's reference packs. I chose a reference with a dynamic pose and lighting to challenge myself, and am very pleased with how the sketch turned out as well.  I'm going for a bit of a gritty sci-fi feel with this one, which I think will be more obvious when I paint it in.  Any feedback before I do what would be highly appreciated as always!  Below is the sketch:

I updated the sketch for the new illustration and went ahead and did some quick color tests.  I'm going to stick closely to the lighting on the reference for this one as it's crazy dynamic, but I am taking a ton of artistic license for the character design.  My personal favorite is C followed by E, but I would love to hear any suggestions on what works best before moving forward, so please let me know!

I finished up the painting process, had a lot of fun with this one, particularly in regards to the lighting as I feel it's quite dynamic!  Below is the current preview followed by some steps for those interested.  There's still time for some tweaks if necessary, so any final input would be most appreciated!
   ............
Next up I started work on a new image depicting 'Helen Of Troy'.  This was a lot of fun to draw as I wanted to implement a theme/story and I feel it worked fairly well.  Any input before I begin work on some color tests would be most appreciated!

I hate to start pointing things out when an image is done, but I don't quite understand those reflected squares of light. I don't think light reflected against dark red bricks would turn entirely white... Not that I've experimented with it... It just seems to me we should see something of the wall through it. There's also a strange "shear" in the brick texture left of her head. Bricks might get somewhat deformed under the right circumstances I guess, but mostly they'd crumble or the mortar between them would crumble... The bricks would still largely remain the same shape...

For the new image, it looks very much "you" :) I do have a couple of issues here as well. Mostly that her arms look like they're completely different sizes. Her left (to our right) also looks like the elbow reaches her hips, which would make it a rather exceptionally long arm... Elbows generally reach the waistline. The second thing is mostly that I'm not sure what the pointy things at the left side are supposed to be. They look like maybe spears, maybe crystals... None of them look the same or attached to the shafts as they would be if they were spears, but they seem a kind of odd thing to do with crystals... And even if they were just ornamental they don't seem to be attached to the sticks...
Oh and one more thing... her necklace seems very straight, maybe it should curve a bit around/over neck and shoulders?

The helmet she has cupped in her hand is smaller than her head, so is unlikely to fit anyone other than maybe a small child. The columns and architecture have a strange Escher abstraction to them. The column that ends by the horse head is square when it probably ought to be round like the others, and the lines coming off of the top don't really make sense to me as something resting on top of the column. The tops of the distant columns are all cut off with the edge of the structure resting on top of them. And the veil looks dangerously close to creating a tangent with her shoulder. There's also another tangent with the line on the dress and the top of the leaf, and another with the line of her wrist (hand holding the helmet) and the stone wall behind her.
