I haven't been giving up either.
Unfortunately every current attempt seems to just deteriorate into a messy incomprehensible scrawl.
Inking is something I just can't seem to learn.

Geez, my computer is still suddenly* losing it's internet connection from one second to the next and without reason... well, seemingly anyway.
Anyway I was gonna write something about this and now I'm too lazy**. Suffice it to say 1) I'm cheating and 2) I still haven't done "precious"
*It poofed between attaching the file to a post and trying to insert it in said post... Then I had to restart my computer
**Waiting for something else, so basically I had typed out that using digital inks, eraser and layers is cheating but at least it makes me draw stuff I (most likely) would never otherwise draw. Like a whale killing other sea critters to make protective spells... Or wearing a wrist watch... Or sitting down...

If that's the case then I can't even cheat!
I have been trying digital ones this time around but in ain't working for me.
The only "ink" I can (sort of) do is those Biro things and they look more like harsh pencil scribbles than crisply lined ink.
But congratulations on fitting all those prompts into a single image!
That takes imagination as well as skill.

More finger stuff, but this time with that slooow ArtRage pen. 
Still not the kind of thing I wish I could do.
On a more positive note.. back on my PC I had a play with Mischief the other day and I much prefer the "feel" of that pen to the ArtRage one. Sadly the lack of layers (in the free version) and the harsh eraser are more obstacles to my "progress."
Also I just watched Landscape Artist Of The Year on TV (I prefer the Portrait version of the show but still watch both) and one of the contestants was a woman doing a painfully good ink drawing!
Even my favourite TV shows are mocking me.
Still not the kind of thing I wish I could do.
