As someone who didn't enjoy Harry Potter beyond the first movie (never read the books) I was very pleasantly surprised to really enjoy Fantastic Beasts, so i'm really looking forward to the next one. I hope i'm not disappointed again as I was with HP!

real life witches must have some amazing environments and events in their lives, if Hogwarts is dull....

The tourist board posters say "Come to Northampton, it looks cooler than Hogwarts"

truly my world is way more fun that Hogwarts, sometimes...

When I mean dull, I mean not enough magic, lots of people stuff going on, I was the same when Lost was about the people and the same with the Walking Dead was about the people - if i'm watching that stuff I want magic, weirdness and zombies. I see people everyday and they aren't that interesting

Yes, well done on avoiding a ban with that confession.

I really didn't like the first two Potter movies. The third was better but I didn't really enjoy them until Half-Blood Prince, and that's still my favourite one.
The last one would have been good if they'd kept it as one movie but cashing in like that left it a bit of an awkward mess. Despite that I do love the animated sequence about the Three Brothers. That was beautifully done and reminded me of that old tv show The Storyteller.
