Watched a kid's film today. Had another really bad headache so couldn't muster much else (I did manage to work for once, though.... But afterwards I kind of wished I had quit earlier and maybe my headache wouldn't have gotten so bad.... Or maybe it would have anyway )

I decided to watch Monster Hunter last night. It wasn't as bad as I expected it to be, but that doesn't mean it was particularly good 

That sounds like a pretty apt description of that movie

I have now finished Star Trek Picard.
And I still don't understand why The Internet hates season two.
I thought that was the best one. But season three was also enjoyable in a much more familiar and nostalgic way. It almost felt like old times again as all the characters got together once more to reminisce about how much surgery has gone into those faces and which wig is the most convincing.
But nostalgia does always seem to work and it did hit all the necessary notes. I guess that's why so many shows and films rely on it these days.

Because the internet saw it? 

Finished season two of Carnival Row last night and it was worse than the first one.
It also had one of the goofiest looking CGI creatures I've ever seen. If I'd painted that I'd delete it immediately, sulk and then come on here to post a comment about how I never have any good ideas.

Orlando Bloom is actually a real person and not CG at all, but I can understand the confusion.
