Decided to quit work early (it's hard to work without your work computer, programs and files anyway) and finish watching the 3rd episode of Mr Midnight (started during lunch hour). And there's something that looks like the lovechild of Gollum and someone who did "cat face" cosmetic surgery. *shudders*

I can also verify that I don't have the magicians on my netflix...

I just looked up the age of the five main teens in Mr Midnight... One of them is 18, one I couldn't find an age and the other three are between 26 and 29...

Well, they don't look it. Or maybe 30 year olds just look like kids to me...

Weren't there some actors in Buffy who were nearly 40 at the time?

Did they play teens? Or teachers?

Of the regular cast the only members that were in their forties were Anthony Head, Kristine Sutherland, and James Marsters. The oldest of the Highschool aged characters was Charisma Carpenter who I believe was in her mid to late twenties and about a year or two older than Nicholas Brendon. Several of them were actually close to the character's age (or the same age in the case of Michelle Trac.. truncheon... tricho... Dawn).

I don't think I have read the book, or if I did then I was quite young at the time and don't remember much of it, but I suspect the makers of this film also haven't read it. Doesn't having girls in the Lost Boys completely miss the point of why Wendy was brought to Neverland in the first place, and a large part of what the entire story is actually about thematically? 

Isn't there a Tiger Lily is one or some adaptations, though? And Tinkerbell.... But yeah, as far as I recall there were some mommy issues or something involved, that had to do with girls. Though I haven't read the book either, as far as I recall.

Yes, it was Spike that I was thinking of. As I've confessed before, I never watched the show, but I do remember lots of people being surprised by how old he was.

Tiger Lily and Tinkerbell weren't Lost Boys though

Yes, I was surprised to find out when I found out. He doesn't look much older now, maybe he really is a vampire
