It quite funny how nearly all the streaming services are offering the chance to watch David Lynch's Dune in a desperate attempt to cash in on the recent movie. It doesn't seem that long since I rewatched that (and didn't like it when I did) but I have noticed that Amazon have that Children Of Dune miniseries.
So I am rewatching that instead.

I just read a review for the new Matrix movie. Basically not good, it seems...

Were people expecting Keanu Reeves to suddenly be a competent actor now?

I'm currently about half way through The Wheel Of Time and it's a little inconsistent (but experience is teaching me to not be too critical of big hairy monster VFX: lol:) Also some of the casting is a bit odd. The main characters appear a lot older than in the books (then again GoT did that too.) Rand seems like he's about to start up a Boy Band and Mat looks like he'll be 30 before the end of the series.

Not really. The summary was something like "same fights, worse choreography, actors and filming".

Considering how good the last two Matrix films (and everything they made since) were, this is not really a surprising result. 

His accent hasn't got any better either.

Today in Star Trek

A ship exploded because of ignited radiation.

Later, the "Laws of Probability" were changed,, making improbable things happen all over the place.

Oh well, I still find it enjoyable.
