Having finished The Americans (no spoilers but I kinda wish they hadn't left so many unanswered questions, particularly with my favourite character. Still enjoyed it though) I am now trying to squeeze in another season of Penny Dreadful.
I know I just said that I get bored of spooky things but that one did manage to keep me interested for the whole of the first season so I'll see how it goes.

That also sounds familiar but I still can't remember details.
Last night I watched Jumanji: The Next Level and it was slightly entertaining rubbish, but it did make me laugh at least twice with some video game jokes.
At its worst it was rather embarrassing watching The Rock trying to act like Danny Devito and failing so very badly. Especially when another character also had to act like him later and they did it brilliantly. I felt a bit sorry for the big guy then. Just stick to those limited roles, Mr Rock.
After that I watched The Lighthouse which was a completely different kind of movie.

I've seen one Jumanji with the Rock but I can't remember anything about Danny DeVito so probably not the same level...

Just noticed that the Westworld box sets have just appeared on my Now TV thingy. Including season 3! 
I've got about 20 days until my Christmas subscription runs out so I should be able to fit it in.
Meanwhile.. season three of Penny Dreadful.

I remember that from normal TV too so I didn't get to binge it either.
I certainly liked that one a lot better than the vaguely remembered Requiem. The chemistry of the female characters made it very watchable and entertaining.

Been terribly tired over the weekend and it somewhat hindered my movie-watching/box set binges.
On Saturday I snoozed my way through The Dark Knight Rises, which wasn't too much of a problem as I've seen it before and my "excellent" memory filled in the gaps.
But last night I missed a substantial amount of Penny Dreadful after falling Very Asleep in a depressingly deep way.
Will have to try and rewatch tonight... if I can stay awake.
