Male Planar Statue

A few months back there was a post on the IFX forums about a kickstarter project for a planar figure. I decided to have a punt at it despite never having had anything to do with Kickstarter. Today I received a nice box with the figure along with several heads which snap into the body with a magnet. Thought I'd post up some piccies of him.

Pretty cool. Looks a little like the Silver Surfer.

I believe the guy is also planning a similar female figure. They will be available to buy from here: figureformstudies.bigcartel.com/ eventually.

Am I just imagining or is his planar head looking rather concave between forehead and temples?

It is, but you may also be imagining things (I don't know what might be going on in your head). The crappy lighting at my desk exaggerates it a little as well. I did make him a paper hat, but it fell off.

Looks very nice. One of those things that even if you don't use it all the time it's still something nice to have around your desk. Makes you look like an artist.
