Hello, new site, all very exciting...

Just left my last post on the IFX forum and decided to put my first one up here. Great work on getting this site set up with some overlap before the IFX forums go down. Glad to see so many familiar faces from the old forums. Looking forward to those monthlies once more!

That's it I'm hooked! These little green exclamation marks by the posts to tell me when we have a new reply to a thread have suckered me in. Every time I refresh the page a new one appears and I just cant leave without reading it!! Please excuse the late night/early morning possibly drunk ramblings that are to follow - but you've only got yourselves to blame!

Agree it was a sad day indeed, and especially since the day of the announcement was supposed to be a good day for me. June 25th is actually my anniversary date at my work, and June 25th, 2014 marked my 30th year of service, meaning I could retire on that day, or any day afterwards. But have to admit, when I read that they had chose to close the forums, I was more than just bummed. ... But think it may have been a blessing in disguise now due to the folks involved with getting this new site up and running. Have to say so far I'm liking this site way better then the old one. Not only because of it's functionality, but the way it's set up. Just hope that more of the forumites from the IFX forum can find their way here, before the other one closes.

Dave the IFX site was never really the most up to date, always had it's issues, so this is amazing, everything works so well
