Recently I've been doing a bunch of fan art work and have gone back to what inspired me to draw anything in the first place. Comics.
Looking forward to the Guardians of the Galaxy film. This one I used reference from a statue / bust of Groot and Rocket Raccoon.
For Bananaman I used a bunch of reference including Arnies body and Bruce Campbells face.

Actually, some of us were just speaking about color application as well and even started a thread for it. It can be found here.

Thanks for pointing me there Dave, I'll keep tabs on it. I've not done gray scaling in a while. Prob why I'm struggling more these days. Hopefully it'll help in the long run.
