I was thinking more like storm drains.... Like IT, perhaps, or just normal storm drains.

 

Wow, both of you were much better at making the creature fit into the photo with the right lighting and colours.

I don't know about that, I liked your squirrel from the other thread (not to mention the bravery of chasing one of the psychotic monsters down to get the photo in the first place).

Squirrels are not psychotic monsters! Unless you've treated them badly. Have you???

I haven't. They frequently sit there swearing at you as you walk past. Constantly angry at nothing.

You're walking too close, obviously. Or on their land.

I like squirrels. They always like to come close to me. I must relate to diseased, flea-ridden vermin in some way.
One of them almost hit me last week when it fell out of a tree that I was sitting under. Made quite a thud on the grass before it scooted off looking embarrassed.
They're much friendlier than the rabbits I tried to photograph the other day. Can't get close to them at all. Yet.

And once again... today is far too warm for going out.
