Submarine

Brief:
Interpret the title as you wish into some kind of creative visual brilliance. (No, it doesn't have to be yellow.)

Deadline: Midnight on Sunday 31st of May. There will now be no voting and no eventual winner, this is just a creative exercise with a time limit.

This thread is where you post your final entries, WIPs (work in progress) should be posted over here:  cgartnexus.com/index.php/forum/challenge...ay-26-submarine-wips

Challenge rules and guidelines:
cgartnexus.com/index.php/forums/challenge-rules

Rules in brief:
- All challenge entries must be your own work. (No AI - prompts don't count as creative exercise, here.)
- You should post at least two WIP images that are clearly different from your final entry and each other.
- Your final entry should contain your image (inserted so it shows up full size) and at least two links to your WIP posts on the forum.
- No chatter in the finals thread – if you have questions, post them in the WIP thread or PM an admin.
- Feedback is allowed & encouraged after deadline and in the WIP thread.
- Deadline is given in UK time (midnight UTC) with a grace period of 5 minutes for getting the post sorted.

Thanks. There was meant to be a big (possibly finned) beasty in the picture, but I didn't have time to do that. It was intended to be a kind of remake of a pic I did a long time ago.

This is excellent, even without any beasties. The emptiness of the background helps to emphasise the depth and pressure of the water while also creating a sense of isolation.
I thought the texturing work you did on the vehicle was a really high quality (I certainly couldn't see any errors) and I love the way the lights are highlighting those bubbles.

And sorry for not getting round to doing anything for this one. GamePass is a use it or lose it thing and I always feel compelled to get my money's worth.

Thanks. Substance Painter's preset materials did most of the work for texturing, I mostly just did some adjustments and painted the rusty streaks. The most I did was for the design on the brass plaque done in Inkscape... which is barely visible in the final
