CGAN Mar 2015 Challenge - Tribute to Nimoy - Final

Well I really thought the Spock versions were pretty great, it's tough to come up with different ideas for a characature but you all came up with cool ideas, which is awesome! I which I could pick two people to tie but I can't so I have to be subjective.

(1) Hobby - I think you really captured spocks essence, it's like he's peering into your soul, the eyes are so human, you can really tell exactly what mood he's in, and his personality really comes through, the colors and lighting are done really well and do it justice, awesome job!

(2) Valence - Your version of spock was really creative, and awesome! Especially with the pose you chose and the background which really works with the colors and and lighting, the texture of his hair and face is done perfectly, I would of scored you higher but I think Hobby captured his essence better.

(3) Jessie - Awesome idea and you did an amazing job with it Very cool idea to show both sides, actor and character, it looks great the way you did it, the linework and shadows are done really well, great job!

(4) Cherry - I really like the different take on the theme, you stepped outside the box, the colors and so vibrant and the design is really interesting, I would of scored you higher if I was more familiar with his poetry stuff, but you know how to draw hot chicks that's a certainty

1: Val. Deep dark values. I think that sums it up nicely! Nice work. A little muddy, but still my favourite!

2: Hobby. Lot of love when in this image. It reflects a lovely tribute. Really nice.

3: Jessie. Smart. Very smart!
