I thought Predestination was pretty awesome too but I completely agree with you about the twists - they were all a bit to easy to see coming IMHO. Just watched Deadpool and thought it was pretty good. The wise cracking got on my nerves a little at the start but once I realised EVERYTHING in the movie was done firmly tongue in cheek I started to enjoy it a lot more.
Personally I loved all the dancing in Guardians though, more dancing in movies for me! Groot dancing at the end was just spot on and for some reason just that scene really endeared me to the film.

I watched a movie once called A Sound of Thunder, the only spoiler i'll give because after you watch it you'll be like
